In Key Stage 2, two pupils from each class are elected by their peers to be representatives on the School Council. They meet every week to discuss a wide range of aspects of school life. This provides the pupils with a voice and opportunities to contribute to the development of the school, whilst also giving them a sense of responsibility.
Previously, School Council have given up their time to raise money for reading books, first aid course and consulted with the rest of the school about the views of school dinners and how they could be improved. They have also played a major role in the healthy eating campaign we have recently launched.
Currently, they are supporting with first aid across the school and continuing to be the voice of the pupils in school. Well done!
