Year 6 children went on an adventure to see original artifacts and learn about the fate of the unsinkable ship - the Titanic. They were given an insight into the events surrounding the launch, voyage, the sinking and its aftermath.
This compelling exhibition explored Liverpool's central role in the Titanic story and was a wonderful experience for the children to support their Frozen Kingdom topic. The Titanic was registered in Liverpool and so carried the city's name on her stern.
This trip was an invaluable experience for the children and gave them the chance to enhance their studies and to visit one of Britain's best historic cities.
